Wolffs Abroad
Always moving. Deeply rooted.
Who We Are
A Family on Mission
We’re the Wolff family — Brian, Melissa, and our eight kids, ranging from three years old to twenty-two. We’re retired military, which means we know how to move, adapt, and show up wherever we’re needed. That restlessness never left us — it just found a better purpose.
We’re adventurers at heart and community people by conviction. Our calendar is full of intentional trips and happy accidents. We believe showing up for people is the mission, as much as anything else we do.
We’re a Bible-believing, Christ-centered family. Our faith isn’t a compartment — it shapes how we travel, how we love, how we spend our time, and where we choose to plant ourselves. Right now, that’s Hawaiʻi.
Our Mission
Why We’re Here
We moved to Hawaiʻi with a specific call on our hearts: to support Japanese Christian ministries and, in time, to work alongside — or help start — churches reaching the Japanese people with the love of Christ.
We’re not experts. We’re a family that said yes, and we’re figuring it out together, one relationship at a time.
Where We’re Serving
Active Missions
From the shores of Oʻahu to the mountains of Uganda to the streets of Japan — here’s a look at where we’re showing up and what God is doing through it.
